What’s On Our Baby Registry
I cannot believe that we are only a few days away from the third trimester of pregnancy! We finally finished our baby registry, and I thought I would share what is on our list. Most of the items were crowd sourced recommendations from family, friends, and this community! We really didn’t want to overdo it with a ton of items we may not ever use, so we tried to stick to the essentials. I should note this is not a complete list of all the items on our baby registry, just the ones that were highly recommended!
ingenuity smartclean trio 3 in 1 high chair
Meal time is messy and I wanted a product that was minimal fuss and easy clean. The tray table is BPA free and I like that this will grow with baby into the toddler years!
comotomo baby bottles
This brand was highly recommended by many of you! We actually already grabbed a set of 4 during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale earlier this year, but I figure it would be good to have a few extra on hand. Nipple and bottle is made of silicone and is BPA free.
silicone bibs
I know we won’t need these for a while but they will be nice to have for when we are ready. They are waterproof, stain resistant, and BPA free, which makes them great for mealtimes!
sophie the giraffe teething toy
This little giraffe seems to be a fan favorite in the baby community. It is made of natural rubber, which is completely safe for infants and has natural antibacterial properties.
hello baby baby monitor
Having an easy, no fuss baby monitor was a top priority for our baby registry. I just wanted something simple, no WIFI or vital sign monitoring, just a way to clearly see and community with the baby as needed. This baby monitor was recommended by a close friend of mine, and has over 8,000 5 star reviews on Amazon. It comes with a mount kit and you can connect a second monitor for future children if needed.
baby delight bouncer
choosing a bouncer/swing was arguably the HARDEST decision when putting together this registry. I feel like every baby has different preferences and I really didn’t want expensive baby gear in the house that we may not end up using. After doing A TON of research, I found this bouncer on Amazon which is a much more affordable alternative to the popular brands that are upwards of $200. It has great reviews and this way, if baby doesn’t end up liking it, we won’t have much buyers remorse!
diapering and bath time toiletry essentials
You can’t go wrong with adding these types of items to your registry! When searching for diapering and bath time products, I used EWG skin deep ratings to see how safe products are for baby. We of course have no idea what type of skin baby will have, so I want to have products on hand that are free from harmful fragrances, dyes, petroleum, parabens, etc. Hello Bello baby shampoo, Earth Mama Diaper balm and Water Wipes are all EWG certified, or have a rating of 1 (which is the lowest, safest rating without being certified).
nose frida nasal aspirator
If you are an expecting or current parent, I feel like you have probably heard of Nose Frida. Many of you classified this as a ‘life saver’ for those snotty/sick moments!
snuggle me organic infant lounger
We added this as something extra to have on hand for baby to lay in when we are in more common areas like the living room. I DO NOT plan on using this for unsupervised sleeping, and they are NOT recommended for that. I ended up choosing this one over the other popular option because the cover is made of 100% organic cotton.
moms on call basic baby care book
Several of you suggested actually taking a newborn care class from Moms on Call. I found this book on Amazon and figured it was a great place to start, and will hopefully be a good reference. Written by two pediatric nurses!
keekaroo changing pad
We will be using a dresser as a ‘changing table’ to help save space. I like how this one is easy to clean and will be easy to store once we no longer need it!
ubbi steel diaper pail
I am not sure if this is considered a necessity but many of you suggested registering for one of these! This brand was highly recommended for locking in odors and has great reviews.
Are there any products not on this list that you SWORE by? I would love to know what they were! Leave me a comment below 🙂
