The Friday Five 6.10.22
After a few weeks off, we are back with the Friday Five round up! Here is what I have been loving this week…
ONE || Ilia Cream Blush
Apparently, I have been living under a rock because I just now discovered cream blush. I recently purchased this multi-stick from Ilia in the color ‘whisper’ which is a really nice peach-pink. To apply, I do one swipe on each cheek bone and blend it in with my finger tips. I have not been wearing makeup much this summer, so I love how this adds just a subtle color to my cheeks and I have also been using it as lip color! Ilia is currently having a friends & family sale where you can get 20% off your $75 order with code ILIA20
TWO || Barefaced Tinted SPF
Speaking of low maintenance beauty, I know I have been raving about Barefaced products for months, but I wanted to give another shout out to this SPF. This is a super lightweight, mineral based SPF with the slightest tint to give a healthy summer glow. It is important to point out that this is NOT a makeup product, so if you are looking for a tinted SPF that will provide coverage, this is not the product for you. If you are looking for a good ol’ mineral based product with SPF 50, I highly recommend giving this a try. You can read my full review on Barefaced here, and you can always get 10% off your first order with code ‘KMM10’
THREE || BISSELL Handheld Cordless Vacuum
I saw this product recently featured on The Car Mom and thought it was a genius. It is a small, portable, cordless vacuum that is perfect for those kid spills (goldfish in the car seat – I am looking at you). The vacuum fits right in the compartment on the doors of our SUV for easy access. It is definitely going to come in handy for future road trips!
FOUR || High Waisted Distressed Denim
It has been a bit cooler this week so I have been opting for denim over shorts and summer dresses. These high waisted distressed jeans are a great light wash for summer. They have a very slight wide leg crop style, so if you are looking to try a new style and venture away from your tried and true skinnies (I get it), these are a fun option to try! I wear my regular size in a regular length. They are on sale for $48 currently!
FIVE || Lovevery Play Kits
Who else buys a ton of toys only for their child to play with one over and over again? That is definitely my child. We have been getting Kennedy the Lovevery play kits since she was 2 months old, and they continue to be her most used toys by a landslide. Each play kit comes with a variety of stage-based, developmentally appropriate toys. Most of the toys are are made of sustainably harvested wood and they are built to last. We just ordered Kennedy her new playkit for 16-18 months, and I am so looking forward to her discovering how to use some of the items included. At this point, we have decided to invest in these play kits every 3 months or so, instead of getting new toys regularly throughout the months. The play kit is a subscription, typically delivered every 3 months, but you can skip any time free of charge!
