TGIF and welcome back to The Friday Five! I am so pumped about bringing back this series to the blog. Back in 2018, when I first started KMM Lifestyle, I started doing a weekly round up of whatever I enjoyed, found interesting, or useful throughout the week. As I continue my journey of decreasing my time on social media platforms, and shifting my focus to my personal blog, I thought now is as good a time as any to bring back The Friday Five series.

We had our first taste of summer this past week in NY. We had multiple 80 degree sunny days, and it finally felt like we rounded the corner weather-wise. April is always hit or miss in the northeast because you can experience all four seasons in one week. I am so looking forward to enjoying the warm months with our family this summer! The weekend looks like it is going to be beautiful so we are going to get our patio set up for the summer and spend as much time as we can outdoors.

ONE || FARMACY GREEN CLEAN MAKEUP REMOVER CLEANSING BALM

I recently purchased this cleansing balm from the Sephora Spring Sale in April. It was definitely an impulse buy, but I can say after a month of using it regularly, I will be repurchasing. The product itself feels so luxurious on the skin and removes every last bit of my makeup, even mascara. I use it before washing my face at night and follow up with my Revisions Skincare Cleanser (you can see my full skincare routine here!). Not only it is super effective at what it claims to do, but the scent is so lovely! It smells like lime and summer.

TWO || THE DREAM PODCAST

I started listening to this podcast on the way to and from work this week. The series focuses on firsthand accounts of women who have participated in MLM’s and their experiences. It also dives into the history behind MLM’s and how they are still allowed to operate under the Federal Trade Commission. I am only about 4 episodes in, but it has been really interesting so far.

THREE || $25 WIDE LEG LINEN BLEND PANTS

I finally decided to embrace the wide leg pant trend thanks to these pants. They are SO comfortable. Linen is one of my favorite fabrics to wear during the summer, so I think these will get a lot of wear. Also, you just can’t beat that price! They are a great piece to add to your summer wardrobe if you are like me and don’t want to spend a lot on trendier styles.

FOUR || OVERSIZED BEACH TOWEL

If you are looking for an affordable beach towel/blanket might I suggest this one! We have been using ours outdoors all week and I love it so much I might get another one. It’s perfectly oversized and $25!

FIVE || RAYBAN SUNGLASSES

Never in my adult life have I owned ‘nice’ sunglasses. I received these as a mother’s day gift, and man what a difference in quality between these and my cheap $12 ones! I feel like the frames would work with most face shapes, and I love the very subtle pink tortoiseshell (you can only tell if it hits the light justtt right).
