The Friday Five
This week was a whirlwind! I started my new job as a pediatric nurse practitioner, and so far I am loving it! The staff has been so kind and welcoming to me this week, and I am so grateful to be given this opportunity. After working a Monday through Friday job, I definitely appreciate Friday so much more! This weekend JD And I are heading to Buffalo, NY for a Justin Timberlake concert! I haven’t been to a stadium concert like this one in several years, so I can’t wait to see the show!
This week’s Friday Five consists mostly of items that I am loving for the office! I know many of you requested that I post more office, work friendly items, so I hope this helps!

ONE // Kristin Ess Hair Serum
It has been a LONG time since I have gotten my hair cut and colored. It is mostly because I procrastinate anything that has to do with beauty/skin maintenance, I hate it! I started using this hair serum about 3 weeks ago, and it really has helped tame my split ends and bring some shine back into my dull, dry hair. It is very affordable, at $14 and you can find it at Target!
TWO // Grey’s Anatomy Episode 15×19
I have been a dedicated Grey’s Anatomy fan for 15 seasons. It is one of the only few shows that I continue to watch live week after week. Grey’s Anatomy is known for their emotional, turbulent storylines, but this one gave me chills. The plot focuses on Jo Wilson, one of the fellow doctors, and a patient, and their history with sexual abuse and rape. I won’t spoil it, but there is a scene that is so powerful it will bring you to tears. It really showcases the healing power of having women on your side supporting those who have experience this terrible trauma. It is a must watch, whether you are a fan of Grey’s Anatomy, or not.
THREE // Floral Print Tops
I am starting to build a spring wardrobe, both for work and play, and I have been loving floral prints lately. Here are a few favorites that I have and love.
FOUR // Mix No. 6 Gerrama Flats
As a healthcare provider, I am on my feet pretty much all day seeing patients. These flats have quickly become my new favorite work shoe. They are comfortable, yet dressy. The material reminds me a of how a Rothy shoe might feel. They are snug at first, but break in nicely, so I would get your true size. My only complaint is that I wish they came in more colors!
FIVE // A New Day Reversible Tote Bag
Another work favorite! This bag is under $30 and huge! I can fit my computer, planner, lunch, water bottle, coffee, pens….everything fits in this thing! I just need one of those felt purse organizers now, but I love how practical this bag is! I have the taupe color, and it can reverse into gold!
