Pregnancy Fashion Favorites
More pregnancy content for you today, friends! This post has been long overdue on my blog to do list but I wanted to make sure that everything I shared I truly loved. All pregnant women just want to be comfortable, and to feel GOOD, so I wanted to make sure that everything I shared was worth recommending first. So finally, I have rounded up my pregnancy fashion favorites, all of which have helped get me through the second and third trimester. I will be giving some more detailed information on just a few items, and everything else will be listed at the bottom of this blog post!
My Pregnancy Fashion Favorites
Zella Live In Maternity Leggings
I bought these leggings back in August during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I didn’t need them at the time, but I love the regular zella leggings so I had a feeling I would love these as well. Unfortunately, they are sold out in most sizes, but I found an alternative at Nordstrom Rack by the same brand! I wear my pre-pregnancy size and they fit great.
Spanx Faux Leather Maternity Leggings
Yes, another pair of leggings. Isn’t that what all of us pregnant women are really looking for anyways? I decided to invest in these after my battle with finding good maternity denim. I wanted something I could wear that looked more put together and I already have a pretty serious love affair with my regular Spanx faux leather leggings. I would size up one from your pre-pregnancy size because the legs have some slight compression.
I started getting some leg swelling starting around 28 weeks and I immediately ordered these. You get 8 pairs for under $20 and they actually work! I wear them pretty much all day and take them off at night and they have helped keep the swelling at bay. I also have been wearing them during Peloton workouts!
Another 3rd trimester favorite. Between this and my compression socks, I have been looking SO fashionable. In all seriousness, wearing this really helps get the pressure off my bladder and pelvis. I have also been wearing it to workout and have noticed less discomfort in those regions. It also comes with a reusable hot/cold pack that inserts in a pocket by your lower back.
In 2020 I discovered wireless bras and I don’t know that I will ever go back. Pregnancy changes a lot of things in your body, but one of my biggest challenges has been keeping up with the increased cup size in this region. I found this affordable option at Target and it has been a win! The band on the bottom does ride up slightly because of the bump, but it is extremely soft and doesn’t cut into my skin so I don’t mind.
I grabbed a few of these when I was having terrible night sweats in the second trimester. They didn’t solve my issue completely, but they made it more bearable and the fabric is like a dream to sleep in.
Here are the links to the rest of my pregnancy fashion favorites! Including the underwear I love, a pair of amazing joggers (seriously, they are amazing), and some tolerable maternity denim.
xo, Kristen
