Our Favorite Paperpie Picture Books
Over the summer, after months of deliberation, I became a consultant for Paperpie books. At first, my main purpose was to order activity books for my children at a small discount through my own links. More recently, I started sharing some of our favorites on Instagram with such kind feedback! Today, I would like to share some of our favorite Paperpie picture books that I think would make great additions to a home library, as well as great gifts. Several of the books on this list have interactive elements like flaps and cut outs, which we love. They also are all highly engaging and have beautiful illustrations.
Paperpie Picture Books
Lights Out Leonard – We got this book for Kennedy to help her work through some of her nighttime fears. It also contains a guide on ‘How to Frighten Monsters’.
Luna Loves Library Day – We love Luna! If you have yet to meet this fictional character, I highly recommend this book. I also love that she represents a family structure that you don’t see often in picture books. We also love Luna Loves Christmas!
Room On Our Rock – A heartwarming story about sharing and compassion. Read it forwards and backwards for two different perspectives, such a fun and different way to read a book.
Poppy Pickle – Poppy is a delightful character with a BIG imagination. She is sure to inspire creativity and joy in any young reader.
Upside Down Sid – A story about a character who lives his life upside down and is welcomed by others and treated with kindness and respect. You will love Sid!
Don’t Forget – This book celebrates all the big AND little moments in life that can bring us comfort and joy. This is a favorite in our home.
Where Happiness Lives – the sweetest book about being happy with what you have. A lesson to be learned by children and adults! It also has fun features like flaps and cut outs.
I Want to Dance – I love the illustrations in this one! Lots of themes of friendship, perseverance, kindness, and working together.
Another Book About Bears – A hilarious story about all the bears who are tired of being pulled away from whatever they are doing to participate in stories written about them. It is adorable and I think children and adults will enjoy reading this one together!
Soon – a sweet book about a little mouse who is helping their mother prepare for a new baby. This would be such a beautiful baby shower gift or gift for a soon to be sibling. The story is simple and open ended, which allows for conversation with siblings on what to expect with a new baby.
Nibbles: The Book Monster – Another beloved character. This Nibbles story is the best in my opinion. Follow Nibbles the monster as he eats his way through fairytales and changes the outcome of the stories! Check out the other Nibbles stories here.
The Big Race – An aardvark has entered a race with other animals who are bigger and stronger than him. This book has a wonderful lesson of perseverance, believing in yourself, and not letting the opinions of others tear you down.
Thank you so much for any & all support on my blog. I earn a small commission on products shopped through my links, which I use to support my family, shop small & local, and donate to charitable organizations.
