Mini Spring Capsule | Old Navy Try On February 2020
Spring is in the air (for today at least)! We have been blessed with gorgeous weather this weekend in NY, and it is getting me all sort of excited for the warmer months ahead. I stopped into Old Navy yesterday and they have SO MANY great spring items. This may be one of my favorite Old Navy try-ons to date!
I tried to put together a mini spring capsule wardrobe while I was there. I always get asked where to start when it comes to creating a capsule wardrobe. First, I suggest reading this post. If you are on a budget, I highly recommend starting at Old Navy. Their pieces tend to mix and match very easily, which makes outfit creating less stressful. Keep in mind though, Old Navy is not top of the line quality, but there are usually some diamonds in the rough! I prefer to use old navy for accent colors and more trendy pieces. This spring I am integrating blush and green into my wardrobe, and I was able to find a few great items!

white cardigan // wearing an XS, this cardigan is SO GOOD. Old Navy killed it with this one. The buttons are functional, and it is a bit cropped but I would get your true size.
distressed denim // I have raved about these in several past try ons. They are great, I would consider them true to size. I am wearing a 2R.
lightweight sweater // this is a great spring sweater if you are in need! Very lightweight and beachy feeling. It is an open knit, which makes it very suitable for my friends in warm climates! I am wearing a small, I would size up one.
white denim // I did not like these! Very thin and felt like they were going to rip. I am not even going to waste time linking these.

camo field jacket // very similar to the green one that I one from past season. Highly recommend these if you are looking for a spring coat, mine has lasted several years. I am wearing a XS and I have plenty of room to layer underneath.

blush open cardigan // I have this exact cardigan in so many colors. I have featured it in several of my past capsules. Thinking about getting this one too! wearing a small, I size up one in these.
striped cami // nice layering piece for spring. The navy and white stripe feels so nautical! Wearing an XS, and would consider it true to size, but if you have a larger bust size up!
blush utility jacket // another great spring jacket find! This one is very soft and has a nice thin liner on this inside. Wearing an XS.
white denim // I did not like these! Very thin and felt like they were going to rip. I am not even going to waste time linking these.
nude faux suede flats // true to size, wearing a 7
collared button down // not good. The collar did not fall right on me, and it felt super thin and cheap. Its very pretty looking on the rack, but I wouldn’t recommend this! Wearing a XS.
destructed straight fit denim // LOVE. These are amazing quality for Old Navy. I find they run small, so I would size up one. I am wearing a 4S. They are a true denim, so very minimal stretch!
rain jacket // this is a great quality coat, but I wouldn’t recommend it for warm climates. It is fleece lined, which is great for spring in the northeast. This does run HUGE. I am wearing an XS and felt like I was drowning in it.

cinched hem sweatshirt // this would be perfect for a cooler beach/boat day! wearing a XS
