My Everyday Makeup Routine
Finally putting together a post on my everyday makeup routine. I frequently get asked what products I use daily, and I thought I would put together a permanent resource for you here on the blog! Most of the products I am going to share with you today are ones that I have used for years. Occasionally I switch up my eyeshadow or lip product, but these are my tried and true favorites!
1 | too faced primed + peachy primer – great magnifying primer that smooths and brightens the skin. It works great in combination with it’s counterpart foundation (which I will talk about next!)
2 | too faced peach perfect comfort matte foundation – my go to foundation for the past year. It is great for oily skin and is magnifying without being to dry/cakey looking on the skin. It has a very natural finish and blends into my skin so well. I use the shade ‘light beige’
3 | tarte shape tape concealer – everyone you follow on instagram likely uses this, but for good reason. This concealer does what it claims and stays put all day. A little goes a long way with this – use too much and it can become creasy looking under your eyes.
4 | laura mercier translucent setting powder – I don’t know if I will ever buy another setting powder. I have used this exact one for 4+ years now. It is very finely milled and blends into the skin so effortlessly. It’s also great for absorbing excess oil!
5 | physicians formula butter bronzer – best bronzer and its from the drugstore! This is the most natural looking bronzer I have tried and doesn’t make you orange.
6 | tarte amazonian clay blush – great quality blush, blends so easily. The shade ‘seduce’ is a perfect rosy nude shade for everyday.
7 | lancome lash primer – this product is the reason I don’t wear fake eyelashes. The fibers in the primer add a TON of volume and aren’t clumpy.
8 |loreal telescopic mascara – another drugstore favorite! This mascara does not get the attention it deserves. It gives a ton of length and separates the lashes perfectly. Make sure to get the black tube though, the gold one is not as good!
9 | anastasia beverly hills modern renaissance eyeshadow palette – the shades in this palette are so beautiful. There are so many colors for everyday use and more glamorous looks!
10 | laneige lip glow balm – very hydrating, lightweight gloss. It is not stickyfeeling at all, and feels more like a balm on your lips. I am not a big lipstick person unless its a special occasion. It gives the perfect subtle glow/tint for everyday use!
