What I’m Adding to the Fall Capsule Wardrobe

It has been over 1 month since the launch of the KMM Lifestyle fall capsule wardrobe. It is hands down my most viewed post this month, so I think it’s safe to say you loved it! I am so GLAD. I really wanted to create a helpful resource that would provide inspiration for ideas on how to perfect your fall wardrobe.

In order to keep this momentum going, today I am going to share a few items that I have worked into my capsule collection. I know that the point of a capsule wardrobe is to limit yourself to a certain number of items, but hear me out. I like to think of my capsule wardrobe as a baseline to help me be more intentional about my purchases. You can view my original fall capsule wardrobe here.

Over the past month, while I shop I look for items that I can easily pair with items that I already have in my closet. I am super excited about styling this faux leather jacket this season. I have been wanting one for YEARS, but never felt like it was versatile enough for my wardrobe. Boy, was I wrong! I have been able to pair this almost all of the items in my capsule. Dare I say, I might just like it more than my coveted suede jacket.

Speaking of suede, and I have also, unexpectedly, fell in love with this faux suede skirt. I purchased this on a while before my trip to NYC last month, and it ended up being the only item I wanted to wear that weekend. It looks great with tall boots, ankle booties, OTK boots, cardigans, tees, sweaters…you get the picture.

I was SO EXCITED to find out that these tall boots were back in stock this year. I purchased them last year, and wore them constantly! Honestly, I was trying to figure out how I was going to wear them this season without being able to share a link with you ladies! My prayers have been answered! I have the taupe pair and they literally go with everything. Bonus, they pass my true test of a good shoe and stand up against the brutal NY winters.
